The Nikanor Project founders, Cathy and Paul Rodriguez met in Bible College, where they both completed their degrees in biblical studies and theology. They have been married since 1971 and have two daughters and 4 granddaughters.

Paul is a physician, psychiatrist, international lecturer, teacher and trainer. He has practiced medicine since 1981. As psychiatrist, Paul has over 33 years of experience with the treatment of victims of severe trauma, addictions, loss, sex trafficking and prostitution, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders and personality disorders.

In the mid nineties, Paul developed an integrated Christ-centered model, based on the New Testament foundation of Truth, as well as on his years of experience working with some of the most wounded and conflicted patients. This model is the basis for their Nikanor Training Program (www.NikanorProject.org).

Paul and Cathy have been involved with missions since 1985. Cathy is a full alumnus and a skilled coach-trainer with the Nikanor Project. Since 2012, they have both been actively engaged in training, intensive individual, marriage and family restoration, as well as in bringing Christ’s healing and liberation to those who are the victims of loss, trauma, sex-trafficking, or are suffering from addictions.

The Nikanor Training Series seminars are offered to all those who have the calling and the passion to be equipped as effective instruments in the hands of our Master. To date, this ministry has taken them to Europe, Scandinavia, the UK, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the U.S.A.
