A devastating flash flood and landslide disaster has struck northern Nepal, leaving widespread destruction in its wake. The flooding, triggered by a massive ice-and-rock avalanche and glacial collapse near the Nepal-Tibet border, has swept away homes, roads, bridges, and entire communities. Hundreds have lost their lives, more than 1,000 people remain missing, and rescue teams are working urgently to reach those who are stranded or cut off.

Please pray for the people of Nepal and for those responding to this crisis. Pray for the rescue of those still missing, comfort for families who have lost loved ones, protection for rescuers, and provision for communities that have lost homes and access to basic necessities. As relief efforts continue, we have an opportunity to stand with those affected through prayer and generous giving, helping provide practical care and hope to people facing unimaginable loss.
